Vibesay Pregnancy Belt – Maternity Belly & Lower Back Support Belt, Universal Size

The Vibesay Pregnancy Belt is an adjustable maternity support belt that sits under your bump and wraps around your lower back. By lifting and supporting the weight of the belly, it takes some of the load off your lower back and pelvis, so walking, standing, commuting and daily chores feel more comfortable in the second and third trimester. Soft, breathable elastic panels and velcro straps let you adjust the fit as your bump grows. Universal size.

Support for your bump and your back

As your bump grows, more of its weight pulls forward on your lower back and pelvis. A pregnancy belt (also called a maternity belt or belly band) cradles the bump from underneath and wraps around the lower back, sharing some of that load. Many women find this makes walking, standing and everyday tasks more comfortable in the later months.

The Vibesay Pregnancy Belt has a wide, soft support panel under the bump, elastic panels across the lower back, and separate velcro straps so you can set how much lift and support you want.

Who it's for
  • Women in the second and third trimester who feel lower back or pelvic strain
  • Mums-to-be who walk, stand, commute or work long hours
  • Anyone whose doctor or midwife has suggested a maternity support belt

Precautions
  • Check with your doctor or midwife before using a pregnancy belt, especially if you have high blood pressure, circulation problems or any pregnancy complication.
  • It should lift and support the bump, not squeeze it. Keep it snug, not tight, and make sure you can breathe and sit comfortably.
  • Wear it for a few hours at a time during activity and take it off when you rest. Don't sleep in it.
  • Take it off straight away if you feel pain, numbness, dizziness or discomfort.
  • Lifts and supports the bump from underneath
  • Helps take some of the load off your lower back and pelvis
  • Encourages a more upright posture while you wear it
  • Makes walking, standing and daily chores more comfortable in later pregnancy
  • Adjustable velcro straps to change the fit as your bump grows
  • Soft, breathable, skin-friendly fabric
  1. Position the support panel: place the wide panel low on your abdomen so it sits under the bump, not on top of it.
  2. Fasten the base band: bring the elastic band around your lower back and secure the front velcro snugly.
  3. Adjust the straps: pull the side straps forward to add as much lift and back support as feels comfortable, and press them onto the main band.
  4. Check the fit: walk around for a minute. The belt should feel supportive under the bump and across the lower back, without pressing on the belly or affecting your breathing.

Care: Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent and dry flat in the shade.

When should I start wearing a pregnancy belt?

Most women find a pregnancy belt helpful from the second trimester, when the growing bump starts to put more load on the lower back and pelvis. Check with your doctor or midwife before you start, especially if you have any complications.

How many hours a day can I wear it?

Wear it for a few hours at a time while you're active, for example walking, standing, commuting or doing housework, and take it off when you sit or lie down to rest. Avoid wearing it all day so your own muscles keep working.

Is a pregnancy belt safe for the baby?

Worn correctly, a maternity belt supports the bump from underneath and around the back. It shouldn't squeeze the belly. Keep it snug, not tight, so you can breathe and sit comfortably. If you have high blood pressure, circulation problems or a pregnancy complication, ask your doctor first.

Can I sleep wearing the pregnancy belt?

No. Take it off at night and when you're lying down to rest.

What size should I buy?

The Vibesay Pregnancy Belt is a universal, adjustable size. The velcro straps let you loosen it as your bump grows.

Can I wear it under my clothes?

Yes. You can wear it under or over clothing. Many women wear it over a thin cotton top for comfort.

Can I use it after delivery?

This belt is designed for support during pregnancy. For after delivery, including C-section recovery once your doctor says it's okay, the Vibesay Maternity Abdominal Belt is made for postpartum abdominal support.

How do I wash it?

Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent and dry flat in the shade. Don't bleach, iron or tumble dry.
